We had Foxtel Digital installed today… Came home to find a shiny box next to the TV. There's hundreds of channels (not all active)… and the signal is perfect (our reception with an aerial before was pretty bad). The best thing about it? The full EPG! I can view the program guide by category or all channels, and can scroll through hours and days (haven't tested to see how far ahead it goes, yet). I can also request information about a particular program, which is cool. Now I have more TV channels available that I know what to do with!
My only request, add a PVR into the set-top box! I heard a rumour this was going to be added… I would love to be able to go into the EPG and ask for a certain show to be recorded.
Hopefully this doesn't change my TV habits TOO much. I don't watch that much right now (and will watch less during semester at Uni)…
