Erik over at NSLog has just posted his question of the day: "Did you buy OmniWeb 5.0? If not, will you?"
I'm starting to use OmniWeb more and more now. Mainly because I love the ad- and popup-blocking features, and it looks a whole lot better than the other browsers (IMO).
I have yet to buy it, though. I'll probably wait until 5.1 to buy it, because it crashes a lot for me, and periodically refuses to access any web pages, or loads them really, really slowly. It's also a lot slower than Camino, I've found. Other than that, it's great!
Hopefully the update to the new WebCore will fix this all up!

Help! Help! I’m being repressed! My posts are being deleted! So much for freedom of speech!
Only because you were doing what the spammer was doing, you silly twit.
Crashes huh? Not here. I think a lot of the slams against OW due to QOTD are from people who haven’t even used version 5.0. If I were going on memories of the last time I downloaded it months or years ago, I’d slam it too.
OW handles tabbed browsing best. Safari has its own neat features, it is my second fave but OW or Camino or Firefox render with less mistakes. Java and Javascript still give Safari hissy fits.
OW seems to be a lot better for me now (5.0.1 included).
I love the tabbed browsing in OW, too. It’s much easier to use than tabs in any other browser I’ve found. I do find that OW is a lot slower at rendering pages, and often takes minutes to load a single page, while Camino will do it in much less time. (I’m on 512k ADSL, and the bandwidth isn’t maxed.) Not quite sure why. But I hope OmniGroup can fix this up…
