According to CNet, the iPod now makes up 92.1% of the hard drive-based music players, and around 65% of all music players.
… Wow. It's amazing that Apple has been able to sell that many iPods, to that many people. I'm surprised by how many people I see at Uni with iPods. Hopefully this will eventually translate into more hardware sales…
On a similar note, oneinfiniteblog covers a Microsoft product manager's recent comment about how Apple's (iTMS) system is "closed" (and MSN Music isn't). A little bit of irony each day is good for the soul.
