More on the iPod Photo

While I haven't had much to say on the iPod Photo, lots of people are talking about it on the web. Here are some comments I've seen…

Paul Thurrott comments on David Pogue's recent review of the iPod Photo, and how it is "borrowing" features from the Portable Media Centers. He does have a point, but the iPod wasn't a totally original idea, either (there were plenty of MP3 players before the iPod).

Engadget suggests that despite Steve Jobs' claims, Apple will eventually make the move to a video iPod.

Russell Beattie also had something to say about Steve Jobs' claim that mobile video isn't worthwhile (yet). Some interesting points there.

Joe Mullins over at Tech Goes Boom reckons that Apple is waiting for the H264 codec (in Tiger) to roll-out an online video store.
