Brunei/Sabah Trip 2004

Day 8

Katherine and I felt a little bit fat from the previous night, so we went to the hotel gym in the morning and punished ourselves for an hour or so. Then we went to the breakfast buffet and punished ourselves again. :D

We spent most of the day shopping, and I ended up getting 4 nice shirts for 330 Ringgit, which is a bit over A$100. Cheap, cheap cheap…

Day 9

Being Christmas day, we thought we'd punish ourselves again by stuffing ourselves silly. This was helped by the fact that we had a buffet breakfast and then headed over to the Beverly hotel to have Christmas lunch buffet.

At breakfast:

After using so much energy eating all that food, Katherine, Xian and I ended up crashing in the afternoon. In the night, we went shopping again (the shops there are open until about 9 every night) and bought some more goodies. (So cheap!)

After getting back to the hotel, we headed off to "Shenanigans" at the Hyatt, where there was a live band. Spent a couple of hours there dancing and enjoying the music, and then we headed home.
