The Mac Observer notes that in the Q1 conference call, it was commented that getting a PowerBook G5 "would be the mother of all thermal challenges."
AppleInsider: Notes of interest from Apple's Q1 2005 conference call - there was a 26% increase in shipments in Q1 compared to the previous year. Wow!
Here are a number of articles that I found today covering the product releases at the MacWorld SF keynote:
Sydney Morning Herald: "Habib set free from Guantanamo Bay" - I wonder if he gets a "sorry"? He has been detained since May 2002, and now the authorities decide that they don't have enough evidence to charge him. Where's the fairness in that?
Despite the apocalyptic-sounding post name, Erik J. Barzeski notes that someone in the Mail team has been smoking something nasty, and the toolbar buttons have been replaced with… bubbles! Ergh.
So… the keynote has come and gone, and what do we have to show for it? Plenty!
Mat and I watched the keynote webcast at work today, and while there were some slightly uninteresting parts, I think it was a pretty good one.
