(It's a bit old, I know.)
Panic recently announced the Panic Goods Store, chock full of Panic paraphernalia to whet your appetite… Mat was so excited, he went out and ordered three of the t-shirts. I was one of the lucky recipients:
Any of the Mac users out there recognise what's on the t-shirt? You should.
(Hint: go and check your email in Mail.)
That's not the coolest thing, however. Cabel (from Panic) has worked some JavaScript and DHTML magic to introduce a drag-and-drop shopping cart. You simply drag whichever shirt you want to a pane at the bottom of the window to add it. Nice… When you're ready to purchase, simply hit the "Check Out" button and you'll be taken to a page with an order summary and fields for you to enter your details. If you don't want to continue with the order, just drag the items (that show up as icons), and the remaining items will shuffle along (like the Dock does) and the item will disappear with a "poof" (again, like the Dock). All in all, a very smooth process. One of the comments suggested packaging and selling the shopping cart system… I agree!
