I just finished installing Tiger (mmm…) after wrestling with backups last night (two dud DVDs now - one because Toast tried to access a file with root privileges (the TechTool Pro 4 preferences file), and the second because the Finder got a buffer underrun (even though buffer underrun protection was enabled - euch).
Seems great so far, although I was scratching my head quite severely (no, it's not dandruff) earlier when clicking on a window would cause it to lose focus - makes it very, very hard to use the system! I figured out that it was Virtue causing the problem, which means I'll have to go without it for a while…
