Lucy has been in desperate need of a laptop recently, so much so she had basically stolen her flatmate's! Mat was kind enough to lend one of the 3 spare ones lying around his house:

Taking a cue from Strongbad, Lucy randomly blurted out "Lucy and the lappy – together at last"… :D

(Apologies for the crummy picture – it was taken with the camera on my Z600, in lieu of the Sony. This was also a chance for me to try out the Polaroidonizer plugin for WordPress.)

(Via Robert Scoble) Rick Segal has written (what I think is) a very insightful post on America and its failings – a point he draws from the fact that 25 of the 100 U.S. Senators refused to sign an "apology resolution" for the victims of lynching.

(Normally I'd post something like to my to "linkblog" (on the right of the main page), but I wanted to draw some attention to it.)
