So now you can boot Windows XP on the Mac, officially.
I bet those in the know at Apple were having a good chuckle when all those people were hacking around to get it working only three weeks ago! ![]()

Do you think that having a apple box with windows OS is a good/bad idea? That is, will the machine be lacking anything because the OS (windows) wont know how to utilise the resources proplery?
I don’t think Windows XP running on a Mac would have any problems figuring out how to “utilise the resources properly”, because to the OS, it’s just another PC. The “Boot Camp” installer actually burns a CD containing drivers for all of the hardware you have (like Airport, Bluetooth, etc) so you don’t have to descend into Windows driver hell/plug ‘n pray.
