In terms of diseases, it’s not a problem, provided you have the vaccinations (hepatitis, typhoid, tetanus). I believe TB and polio do affect some people here, due to inadequate access to vaccinations and health care, but for a visitor there should be no problems.

Apart from that concern, the parts of Pakistan I have seen have been incredible, and I’ve been told by friends that in particular the Northern Areas are beautiful. It’s worthwhile coming here just to see what the country is really like, to see beyond what is portrayed in the media.

I was randomly browsing some blogs when suddenly caught yours. I like reading all posts here and looking forward to reading more of your thoughts of living in Pakistan. The language U use is modestly clear with a touch of intelligence and the pics U took are wonderful. Im thinking of visiting Pakistan sometime in the future. But I heard that its not a nice place to see due to some reasons, especially diseases. Could U have a say on this? Thanks.
